John Q. Leonard is a senior biopharma executive with more than 25 years of experience leading corporate strategy, business development, licensing, and commercial growth across biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life sciences organizations.
Beginning his career as a research scientist at GSK and Eli Lilly before transitioning into executive leadership, John has built a career helping innovative companies translate scientific breakthroughs into strategic partnerships and sustainable enterprise value.
His leadership experience includes global commercial strategy, antibody discovery, AI-enabled drug discovery technologies, preclinical research services, cell and gene therapy, oncology, neuroscience, immunology, and precision medicine. He has advised organizations ranging from venture-backed startups to multinational pharmaceutical companies while cultivating a global network of more than 5,000 life sciences executives, investors, researchers, and industry leaders.
John earned an MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University.
