Strategy may be the most frequently used word in business.

In biotechnology, we often hear executives describe their strategy as becoming a leader in oncology, adopting artificial intelligence, expanding into cell therapy, or building a larger pipeline.

Michael Porter reminded us that strategy is about making choices.

In biotechnology, those choices are becoming more complex than ever before.

And perhaps most importantly, knowing what not to pursue.
